The prestigious British legal publication The Legal 500 released its Venture Capital 2022 ranking, which recognizes the world’s best law firms in this category, including in Chile. In this edition, Apparcel Uriarte & Vassallo (AUV Abogados) was named as one of the leading firms in Chile.

AUV Abogados partner and Venture Capital practice leader Matías Apparcel was also named a “Next Generation Partner,” a qualification that distinguishes law firm partners that have been in the position for up to 5 years, who are recognized by clients and market peers and who have been in leadership roles in multiple matters, according to The Legal 500.

Apparcel is a lawyer who studied at Universidad Católica de Chile and is certified in Venture Capital by the Haas Berkeley School of Business, University of California.

He specializes in a wide range of corporate, financial and tax matters, particularly with startups. Today he is an advisor to the venture capital fund Magma Partners and a judge and advisor to Start-Up Chile, one of the world’s most recognized public accelerators for startups and firms.
