Lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

Matías has vast experience advising Chilean and foreign clients on a wide variety of corporate, financial and tax matters. He has acted as legal counsel in mergers, acquisitions and capital increases of technology companies in the region.

He previously worked as an associate lawyer in the area of entrepreneurship and new business at Philippi, Prietocarrizosa, Ferrero DU & Uría and was a member of Fen Labs, part of the Fen Ventures fund.

Mr. Apparcel is a director of the Chile-Portugal Chamber of Commerce and is in charge of our office in Lisboa, consolidating AUV as the first chilean law firm operating in the country. From there, he advises clients in their expansion to Chile and Latin America, as well as investors interested in migration and expatriation.

He also serves as director of several Latin American technology-based companies and is a mentor and judge of the Start-Up Chile (CORFO) and Parallel 18 (Puerto Rico) programs.

Co-author of the book “Cutting the Cake: How to Divide the Shares without Dividing the Partners” (Kindle Editions).
