Consuelo leads the corporate area of the firm and has extensive experience in banking and financial regulation, as well as in corporate, financial regulation and securities market matters.

She previously worked as a senior corporate lawyer at Banco Itaú (2013-2019), where she actively participated in the merger with Corpbanca. She also led the corporate governance area and served as Secretary of the Audit Committee and various subsidiaries of the Bank, reporting directly to the General Counsel. Prior to joining our firm, she worked as an associate lawyer at Sterlington LLP, New York.

Consuelo holds a law degree from Universidad Adolfo Ibañez and an LLM in Banking, Corporate and Finance Law from Fordham University School of Law in New York (2020). She also has a Diploma in Applied Business Taxation from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2019) and courses in Corporate Governance from Universidad de Los Andes (2015.).
